I am awfully disappointed. I am also infuriated to the extreme!
I ordered two moleskin books from Paper by FiftyThree. I finally received one of them today after three tedious weeks. When I finally got the package, I noticed the packaging was a little soggy. I assumed though that the book would have been protected.
I was wrong. The water damage on the outside seeped through into book, destroying it! I opened the book, and all the pages were mushy! There was ink drained through the back cover of the book!
I am immensely disappointed.
I understand that this was not purposefully done, however I wish there was more precaution taken place securing the book. I cannot blame FiftyThree because they are not the ones printing it. Moleskin is the printer, and most likely this did not happen in Moleskin’s hands. Something had to happen when it went through the postal service. But seriously, wrap the book in plastic at least! Something to make sure that it cannot get wet!
I have already contacted the printer
(still waiting for a response). I don’t even want another one reprinted. I want my money back.
I am expecting a second different book to arrive tomorrow. Hopefully that book is not in the revolting condition like this one!
(I hope you read this, fiftythreenyc!)
